The Manors at Mattie Rose
GATED COMMUNITY INSPIRED BY HISTORIC MANOR ESTATE
From standing on the original estate’s front porch, Grandfather Homes envisioned a gated community featuring 8 manor architecture-inspired homes spanning across the 9-acre property in South Charlotte. “The entire development is designed to pay homage to the original home. We are putting a considerable amount of planning on the front-end of this project to ensure this rare opportunity is executed to its highest and best potential. I feel there is a heartwarming story in the evolving life cycle of this property and we intend to implement the gracious, comfortable, and aspiring estate design into our new homes,” Matt Ewers explains.
The Manors at Mattie Rose will be a gated enclave community off Alexander Road (located 20 minutes south of uptown Charlotte). Seven new custom estates will be built surrounding The Litaker Manor. Each considerable homesite will average .9-acre with custom European-inspired architectural design. Bryan Mermans, who has studied traditional manor home architecture dating back to the 1400s, will be the resident architect. Chicago-based Soucie Horner will facilitate the interior design in their first North Carolina neighborhood. Luxury features include solid surface counters, custom cabinetry, smart home technology, and outdoor living packages. A $150K outdoor living allowance will be granted to introductory buyers. Pricing starts at $1.6M.
