From standing on the original estate’s front porch, Grandfather Homes envisioned a gated community featuring 8 manor architecture-inspired homes spanning across the 9-acre property in South Charlotte. “The entire development is designed to pay homage to the original home. We are putting a considerable amount of planning on the front-end of this project to ensure this rare opportunity is executed to its highest and best potential. The Manors at Mattie Rose will be a gated enclave community off Alexander Road (located 20 minutes south of uptown Charlotte). Seven new custom estates will be built surrounding The Litaker Manor. Each considerable homesite will average .9-acre with custom European-inspired architectural design. Bryan Mermans, who has studied traditional manor home architecture dating back to the 1400s, will be the resident architect. Chicago-based Soucie Horner will facilitate the interior design in their first North Carolina neighborhood. Luxury features include solid surface counters, custom cabinetry, smart home technology, and outdoor living packages. A $150K outdoor living allowance will be granted to introductory buyers. Pricing starts at $1.6M.
