With a foundation in marketing from Appalachian State University, she developed a strong understanding of consumer behavior, storytelling, and lifestyle-driven branding. Since moving to Charlotte in 2014, Missy built a reputation for elevating brand presence, refining customer journeys, and aligning product, design, and sales strategy to support long-term success.
Her career with Grandfather Homes began as the Marketing Coordinator, where she quickly became instrumental in shaping the company’s marketing and sales approach. Her work—featured in the Charlotte Observer, Charlotte Agenda, Charlotte Five, Realtor.com, and the DIY Network—has consistently driven profitable community launches and produced high-quality client pipelines. She launched Grandfather’s social media accounts in 2015 and grew them into an industry-leading platform, including top-performing posts reaching nearly 7 million views. Today, Missy oversees sales and marketing as Sales Manager, defining community concepts, strengthening relationships with architects and designers, and guiding clients through the custom homebuilding process with clarity and confidence.
