Missy moved to Charlotte in 2014 with sights set on a career in real estate. She tapped into her Outer Banks hospitality experience to create a niche – locally marketing and selling homes to fit a lifestyle. During her first year as a Listing Coordinator, Missy advertised and listed nearly 100 homes. It’s that tenacity that landed her the position as a Marketing and Sales Representative for Grandfather Homes. Her work caught the attention of many local publications (Charlotte Observer, Charlotte Agenda, and Charlotte Five – to name a few!) and national publications like Realtor.com and the DIY Network. She quickly grew Grandfather’s social media reach from less than one hundred to thirty five thousand plus.

Missy jumped into the role of Sales Manager in early 2020. Her philosophy on real estate remains the same – it is still all about lifestyle and location. Missy’s historic townhome is in walking distance to Park Road Shopping Center, restaurants on Montford Drive and shopping on Selwyn Avenue. She teaches yoga nearby at Be Yoga in Dilworth and enjoys traveling when she’s not busy selling houses.
