Below is an exert from an article, written by Laura Williams-Tracy at The Charlotte Business Journal (July 12, 2018):
“History is being made — and preserved — in Charlotte’s Plaza Midwood neighborhood, where an historic home will be restored to anchor the development of a new high-end community…
…President Matt Ewers says he initially thought of building in the $800,000 range, but now believes the area is demanding more. The two homes underway are priced at $1.2 million and $1.3 million. “The smallest home you can do is 2,500 square feet, but our buyers are wanting 3,700 square feet.”…
…Ewers says Cramer’s Pond is an example of homebuyers gravitating from high-end suburban golf communities back into town, where they are closer to work and their kids’ schools but still near country club golf. “I see a ton of buyers who want to get back into town and in infill homes,” Ewers says.”
